I can’t hear video playing on the big screen - what now?
If you're sure that you can't hear a video that should have sound, first check the following:
- Is the video supposed to have sound? Some videos may have intentionally been muted by the venue creator.
- Have you muted the website on your browser? Doing so will also result in you not hearing other sounds from the venue.
- To mute or unmute a site on desktop browsers, right-click on the browser tab and click the appropriate mute/unmute button in the dropdown menu provided.
- Was the video player muted in the video playback controls? Some video players may have their volume and play/pause controls visible to attendees.
- To reveal video controls (if they are enabled by the venue creator), simply hover your cursor over the video.
If these did not help, try viewing the venue on another browser to see if the problem persists.
If the issue is specific to one browser, check to see if the problem persists on a new or alternate account on that browser. If it doesn't, then the issue may lie in the browser settings for that specific account.
